Use of Personal Information
We use the personal and transactional information (e.g. name, address, e-mail address, ('Personal Information') you supply to us only in order to fulfill your advertisement order.

On the online order form we will ask you about receiving details of our products and services and/or those of third parties which may be of interest to you.  You should tick the relevant boxes to indicate whether or not you wish to receive such information.

Unauthorised access to personal information

Other than we being negligent, fraudulent or in some way found attributable, we will not be held responsible for any losses you may suffer as a result of unauthorised access by a third party to the information you transmit when you place an order. 

Terms & Conditions

Advertisments placed will appear in printed format in the stated issue(s) of the magazine, for which you will get confirmation, and in electronic format on the website www.farmnequine.co.uk, for the confirmed period.

Contracting Party
Your contract will be fulfilled by Expo Life of Howard House, Hethersgill, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA6 6HW.

When the contract is formed
When you click 'submit', you are making an offer to order an advertisement or advertisements that, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract.

We reserve the right not to accept or process your order for any reason. 

Cancellations & Refunds
Once an order is placed no refunds will be given.

Price information
Prices displayed on the order section of the website include taxes (where applicable) and will prevail at all times in relation to orders placed on-line.

Prices are displayed on our order pages in UK Sterling (GBP).

Liability
Our liability to you in the event of an advertisement not appearing in the scheduled magazine or on the website for the defined period shall, at our discretion, be limited either to rescheduling of the advertisement's appearance or refund of the cost of the advertisement.

All other liability is excluded save that permitted by law.

These Terms ans Cobditions do not and shall not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Third Party Rights
A person who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce or rely upon any provision of them.

Variation
We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time upon giving you 10 days prior written notice.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law.  You hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts notwithstanding the jurisdiction where you are based.

Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions override any contrary terms or conditions published by us in relation to any order placed by you with us.

 

  1. Space orders given on the telephone will be acknowledged as soon as possible thereafter and the contents of the acknowledgement shall be deemed to be correct and to be the basis of the contract unless challenged by the advertisers within 3 working days of receipt.
  1. We reserve the right to approve, amend or decline copy  at our sole discretion and without explanation.  Advertisements must comply with the British Code of Advertising Practice.
  1. We accept no liability for loss through omission, typographical errors or late publication although every effort will be made to accommodate complaints from advertisers for errors not outside its control.
  1. We shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to the advertiser arising directly or indirectly from the contents of his advertisement.  Copy as accepted is always deemed by us to comply with the relevant Trade Descriptions Act currently in force.
  1. The onus is on the advertiser to provide us with advertising copy by the due date. If it is not received by then, we reserve the right to use the Advertiser’s most recently used copy  in its place, if unable to do this we will attempt to fill the space reserved by the advertiser and make a charge for any financial disadvantage thereby accruing to us.  If unable to fill the space the full charge for the space will remain payable.
  1. Series discounts are calculated and based upon the initial contract order and must be earned over the full agreed period. Cancellation or suspension of any insertion within a contractual series will result in the forfeit of the discount and any preceding discount given will then become payable.

Discounts awarded to the advertiser for any agreed reason will be forfeited if the agreed conditions pertaining are not fulfilled by the advertiser. The full amount will then become payable.

  1. The placing of a space order does not guarantee the right to repeat on the same terms although prices ruling at the start date of a series contract will be held throughout the life of the contract., with a review every 12 months
  1. Cancellation or suspension of advertisements booked must be received in writing 8 weeks before publication date.  Late cancellations will result in either, the booked advertisement being run at the acknowledged price, or the issue of a cancellation charge to offset our loss of revenue.
  1. Payment is due 30 days from the date of invoice.  We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts.  We will take all necessary steps to recover overdue debts and reserve the right to suspend further insertions until debt is paid.
